24/01/2012 8/10 for SOLdeSOL Chardonnay 2008
Last January the 24th, SOLdeSOL Chardonnay 2008 has been graded 8/10 during a tasting of South American wines through the prism of Santa Rita's wines. Here is the note : "Complex, subtle wood and mineral aromas. Some lees. Lovely stony acidity, beautiful structure. Finishes a little bit ‘fat’ and leesy, a bit butterscotchy. But it’s lovely Chardonnay, outstanding in the context. Super long, glazed, mineral and foodie. Delish! Just need to get a touch more savoury nuttiness and less butterscotch." 8/10 - Peter Richards MW20/01/2012 Fidelis Wines's tasting at Normale Sup'Oeno
On the 9th of February Fidelis Wines will take part in a tasting at the wine club of the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Paris. Florent Prats will present the wines. Born in a family with a long history in the wine business (his great grandfather was the owner of Château Margaux), Florent Prats spent his childhood in Bordeaux where his father Bruno was then owner of Château Cos d’Estournel. After two years of preparatory studies in philosophy and litterature (Hypokhagne and Khagne), he entered the ENSAE (one of the leading French institutions of higher learning in the fields of statistics, economics, finance and actuarial science). He’s now working in strategic consulting and portfolio management. Florent still follows very closely his father's activities. Indeed, Bruno Prats, who sold Cos d’Estournel in 1998, has established several wine partnerships (in Chile, Portugal, South Africa and Spain), all gathered under the name FIDELIS WINES.09/01/2012 “Most Unexpected” Chryseia 2008

Tasting note of AlfYnal 2009 from Luis Gutierrez,Ignacio Villalgordo and Victor de la Serna, the 3 wine tasters from Elmundovino.com. "Somehow closed at the beginning, the nose is opening on woody notes from the rustic Monastrell and shows more and more complexity as it opens up in the glass. The mouth is fresh, fine and mineral with a very good balance, very expressive. Very good wine - 16.5/20"15/09/2011 FIDELIS WINES IN CHINA
